They are black but I do see a hint of a dark blue in the lens. Very good condition. Some wear to lens but nothing major. They would sit better on a narrow head than wide. The shield is about 2.5’’H in the center. When opened, there is just over 2.5’’ space from one temple to the other. This is a really fabulous pair of vintage sunglasses!
